Something new
for the Fairway Talent blog… a chance to hear directly from our team members! This installment features our very own
Georgine Cooper, Product Development Manager at ETA hand2mind. Here’s what's on her mind:
Some approach the education of children from the
angle of equipping them to ”pass muster” in rigorous—and, some would argue,
over much—testing. Children are more
inclined to approach learning with a sense of wonder with hands outstretched
and minds open to possibility. The ongoing development of our Hands-On
Standards STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) program honors our
foundational belief in the time-tested, research-backed process of hands-on
learning by engaging children in learning by exploring, doing, and applying
discovery to new thinking. It has been
an exciting experience for the product development team and for the children in
classrooms where we are testing it.
